It's possible to use the Switch Pro Controller and Xbox One controller on PS4 Remote Play on PC with the reWASD or ViGEM to emulate a DualShock 4 and even play with multiplayer (both DualShock 4 and Switch Pro Controller) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HbbSqsuDlM. Just download and install reWASD, create a new config, choose Virtual DS4 for this config and map any DS4 button to the correspondent physical control. Then just launch PS4 Remote Play — Xbox controller, PS3 gamepad, Nintendo Switch Pro or Joy-Con couple will be detected as an original device from now. To use Xbox controller with PS4 Remote Play, you need a Basic license only.

Well, this is strange.

I just connected the Xbox One S controller to my PlayStation 4. That’s not something I ever expected to do. On August 2, Microsoft will launch the Xbox One S controller for $60, and — in what is an Xbox first — it features a Bluetooth radio. I’ve already connected it to my PC and Android tablet, but then I remembered that the PS4 uses Bluetooth as well. So I got everything set up, and … well, the Xbox One S controller does connect to the PS4. Macbook software download, free.

Unfortunately, that connection doesn’t mean you can use the Xbox One S controller to interact with the PS4 in any way. I couldn’t get any input to register on the PS4 with my Xbox controller despite the system showing it connected as a gamepad.

Maybe I’m missing something, but I’m betting that the PS4 just doesn’t have the necessary Bluetooth drivers to get the Xbox One S pad working, and that’s probably not going to change.
