      • Gloss Hunter Green #2789 (mailbox)
    • Drop cloth
    • Painters tape
    • Tack cloth
    • Screwdriver
    • All-Purpose Cleaner
    • Medium grit sandpaper or wire brush (optional)

Wedding Post Box

  1. Remove mailbox from post.

  2. MAILBOX:

    • Wrap mailbox flag with painters tape to protect it from the paint.
    • Using an all-purpose cleaner, thoroughly clean the mailbox to remove dirt, oils and dust. Rinse thoroughly with water and allow mailbox to dry.
    • If paint or rust is flaking off the surface, use a wire brush or sandpaper to remove it. Wipe clean.
    • Applying in a well-ventilated area, hold can of Krylon® Fusion All-In-One® in Gloss Hunter Green 6-8 inches from the surface and paint using a sweeping side-to-side motion with slight overlap.
    • Allow paint to dry for 30-60 seconds.
    • Continue to apply light, multiple coats, waiting 30-60 seconds between each, until you are satisfied with the appearance.
    • Make sure the mailbox is completely dry before you remove the painters tape from the flag.
  3. POST:

    • Wash the post with an all purpose cleaner to remove dirt and debris. Rinse thoroughly with water and allow to dry.
    • Applying in a well-ventilated area, hold can of Krylon® Fusion All-In-One® in Gloss White 6-8 inches from the surface and paint using a sweeping side-to-side motion with slight overlap.
    • Allow paint to dry for 30-60 seconds.
    • Continue to apply light, multiple coats, waiting 30-60 seconds between each, until you are satisfied with the appearance.
  4. Krylon® Fusion All-In-One® dries in 25 minutes or less, and can be handled in about one hour, although you may wish to wait a few hours before reattaching the mailbox to the post.
